How to clean your eyelash extensions at home

Updated: Jul 26, 2021

It is really important, that you thoroughly clean your eyelash extensions at home daily, as this helps to increase retention (which is how long your extensions stay on your natural lashes) and also helps get rid of any excess oil residue, and bacteria that may be sitting on your lashes- by cleaning your lashes at home, it means your eyelashes will last allot longer, and be much fuller for your next appointment.

How to clean your eyelash extensions at home:

  1. From your aftercare pack, all you need to do is, squirt a little bit of lash and brow cleanser onto your new cleansing brush.

  2. Close your eye.

  3. Take your cleanser brush to your lash line, and gently scrub your lashes for a few minutes.

  4. Once you have cleansed your lashes, you can rinse them with water ( by applying water to your cleanser brush, or even putting water in a jug and pouring onto your lashes).

  5. Then repeat the process on your other eye, if your lashes are still not clean- please repeat the process as many times as required.

  6. allow your eyelashes to dry by themselves, or you can even fan them to dry, you can also very gently dab them with a clean towel.

  7. once your eyelashes are completely dry, take your mascara brush and gently brush them.- please brush your lashes at least twice a day.
